I remember at age 5 my artist mom teaching me to blend crayons for Cinderella’s hair—a lesson I never forgot: why use one color when you can use more? I never had official art lessons but the art theories were infused into my being so that it became a second language.

After rekindling my long-neglected passion I begun to find my way back to art and to a whole side of myself that makes sense. Midnight Canvas was named for the after-midnight hours when I do most of my art. Oncology RN by day and artist by night—welcome to the products of my nightlife.
